Job description
Hope on Haven Hill is a level 3.5 SUD treatment facility in Rochester, NH. We pride ourselves on offering a flexible, family friendly work environment, as well as supporting our staff in reaching their career goals. This position is eligible for a $5000 hiring bonus, paid in two installments.
The Licensed Clinician is responsible for: providing individual, group and family counseling services to Hope on Haven Hill residents daily with an emphasis on providing Trauma-Informed Care and Gender Responsive Treatment. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Major Responsibilities:
Ø Provide clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, and crisis interventions for all HHH program clients (residential, IOP, OP, etc.).
Ø Provide individual and group counseling to women participating in the residential program with an emphasis on relapse prevention and healthy coping skills.
Ø Treat co-occurring disorders using evidence-based practices in individual, group, and family formats.
Ø Lead or co-lead weekly house meetings to assist residents in recognizing group strengths and managing conflict.
Ø Facilitate family meetings and oversee visitations with family members.
Ø Encourage and support parent involvement and participation per program guidelines.
Ø Help mothers learn healthy parenting skills that will assist them in their everyday life.
Ø Recognizes resident’s rights and responsibilities, including resident’s right of privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
Ø Seek out and participate in opportunities for growth by attending professional training conferences/workshops as directed by your supervisor and in accordance with licensure guidelines.
Ø Attend scheduled team meetings and actively participate to improve positive resident outcomes.
Ø Adheres to safety policies and procedures in performing job responsibilities.
Ø Responds to emergency situations with competence and composure.
Ø Supports risk management and participates in programs concerning resident and staff safety.
Ø Reports evaluation findings to the Clinical Director and/or Executive Director and recommends changes to enhance the program as appropriate.
Ø Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director and/or Executive Director.
Minimum Position Requirements:
Ø NH Licensed Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor (LADC), Master Licensure as an Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor (MLADC), LICSW or LCMHC.
Ø Degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or related field.
Ø Minimum three years’ experience in working with substance use disorder diagnosed individuals.
Ø Experience with diverse client population such as cultural and/or religious minorities, co-occurring disorders and indigent socio-economically disadvantaged clients.
Ø Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively and timely.
Ø Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully; good inter-personal skills.
Ø If in recovery, provide evidence of personal stability as well as adhering to all HHH policies as it relates to recovery.
Ø Significant experience and supportive of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) in conjunction with treatment programs and with 12-Step Philosophy.
Ø Knowledge of 12 core functions.
Ø Knowledge of Evidence Based Practices (EBP) and Addiction Severity Index (ASI) and ASAM Criteria.
Ø Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills.
Ø Ability to multi-task efficiently.
Ø Demonstrated proficiency in excellent customer service.
Ø Ability to provide input on the creation of new systems and efficiencies.
Ø Confidentiality a must and knowledge of 42 C.F.R. Part 2 and HIPAA Regulations.
Other Requirements/Information:
§ Full time exempt position.
§ Will be on an on-call rotation with other clinical team members.
§ Various background checks and medical exam as required by funders.
§ Position based in Rochester, NH.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Staff may wear gloves and masks while providing client care. Common surfaces disinfected regularly. Symptomatic individuals are isolated until symptoms are clear.
