We have an outstanding team of professionals that help to meet the medical, social and spiritual needs of our residents and their families. Human Resources Generalist Job Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the home office recruitment team, develop strategies for sourcing and acquiring a workforce that meets the center’s needs. 
  • Manage onboarding pre-employment activities and organize and participate in new hire orientation. 
  • Track and submit all paperwork for new hires and status changes including but not limited to; transfers, promotions, schedule changes, terminations, FMLA/LOA, Works Compensation 
  • Manage payroll process, ensuring time cards are accurate and approved.  
  • Maintain current knowledge of key employment laws, policies and practices that manage risk, protect the facility and the interest of CCNH. Interpret appropriate laws and policies and advise management and employees accordingly.
  • Coach managers to promptly, proactively and effectively address employee relation issues
  • Assist employees in understanding their benefits, assist with open enrollment including hosting education events and respond to general questions regarding the range of benefits offered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in in human resources or a related field and 3 years of experience working in Human Resources Generalist; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Experience in a healthcare or long-term care environment, preferred
  • Working knowledge of state and federal laws governing human resource and payroll administration
