About the Organization
Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention (MCVP) is the domestic and sexual violence and stalking crisis center for the 44 towns of the Monadnock region. MCVP is a member program of the NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and a Monadnock United Way agency.
MCVP’s mission is to respond to domestic & sexual violence & stalking in our community by providing a care & support system for survivors and to work to end interpersonal violence in all forms through primary prevention, community engagement & collaboration.
About the Job
The Family Violence Prevention Specialist provides advocacy, prevention services, and direct support services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, stalking, and human trafficking within the Monadnock Region in collaboration with the Division of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). The FVPS works half time at MCVP and half time at DCYF and is trained to work with any client who seeks services from MCVP.
