Facilities Manager
About the Job
The Facilities Manager will supervise, coordinate and execute all maintenance activities as they apply to a 120-acre summer camp with 30 plus structures. Duties will include property upkeep, grounds keeping, snow removal, carpentry, plumbing, etc. Duties may entail cleaning buildings and restrooms as needed as well as hosting groups. The manager will keep accurate records, update maps and charts, order supplies as needed staying within budget. They will work with Executive Director and Facilities Committee on Long Range Plan of the camp supervising larger projects which will need outsourced contractors. The position involves supervising different groups of volunteers ranging in age from high school through retired.
