As an Employee Life Navigator at Goodwill Northern New England, you will provide individuals with the tools and resources they need to build a better future by listening to understand the barriers that get in the way of work. We seek a dynamic and compassionate Employee Life Navigator (ELN) to join our Manchester, New Hampshire team.
Employee Life Navigators (ELN) are skilled professionals who assist employees facing various challenges such as unreliable transportation, childcare, housing, medical concerns, etc. As an ELN, you will travel to and be embedded within Goodwill of Northern New England locations, based in Manchester, New Hampshire, as a case manager and life coach, helping employees address these challenges and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess each employee's unique situation and identify the support services required.
- Coordinate referrals to existing community programs and resources.
- Collaborate with employees to develop personalized plans for overcoming life barriers.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to help employees execute their goals successfully.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with lead and secondary community partners.
- Assist employees in identifying growth opportunities and enhancing workplace success.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Certification/License: LCSW, LCPC, LADC certification, a related certification/license, or LMSW on the path towards LCSW a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with employees.
- Experience in case management or coaching is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within Manchester and surrounding areas.
