Director of Development and Finance

An essential member of the senior leadership team at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse in Meredith, NH, the Director of Development and Finance works with a small close-knit permanent staff to pursue the Playhouse’s overall mission of inspiring, engaging, and entertaining the people in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and beyond.

The Director of Development and Finance is primarily responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of all programming and initiatives related to building and maintaining contributed revenue at the Playhouse. Additionally, they are responsible, in collaboration with staff, for coordination of and reporting on the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.

The successful candidate will feel at home cultivating and stewarding authentic connections with various supporters. Though theatre-specific experience is less important, the Director of Development and Finance should be a passionate advocate of the Playhouse’s mission, ready to represent the organization in various formal and informal settings.

Salary: $50,000 per year plus paid time off and employer subsidized health insurance

Start Date: Ideally on or around March 17, 2025, but this can be negotiable based on the needs of the candidate
