Bear-Paw a Land Trust Alliance accredited nonprofit that and serves an eleven-town region between Pawtuckaway and Bear Brook State Parks, including the towns of Allenstown, Barnstead, Candia, Deerfield, Epsom, Hooksett, Nottingham, Northwood, Pittsfield, Raymond, and Strafford.
Our organization has a unique origin story, we started in 1995 as an idea among friends sitting around a kitchen table. Friends who cared about the community enough to identify a dire need for conservation before we lost the precious fields, forests, and farmlands. Since that humble beggining, Bear-Paw has conserved over 11,000 acres!

Job Summary
Bear-Paw is seeking a tech-savvy, hyper-organized individual to lead our donor data systems and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly behind the scenes. This part-time position will manage our Neon CRM database, process gifts, maintain donation records, prepare regular reports, and coordinate communications lists. You'll also play a supporting role in general office systems by keeping core operations on track.
The ideal candidate is self-directed, dependable, and energized by building and maintaining structure. You’re the kind of person who loves cleaning up spreadsheets, spotting patterns in donor behavior, and turning a messy workflow into a clean checklist. You’re proud to be the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps a mission-driven nonprofit running.
Key Responsibilities
1. Donor Database & Development Support
- Maintain and update Neon CRM, ensuring clean and accurate donor records
- Prepare deposits to process gifts, prepare thank-you letters, and coordinate with the bookkeeper to reconcile deposits
- Generate reports for campaigns, appeals, and monthly dashboards
- Manage email, mailing, and event lists in coordination with the development calendar
- Identify opportunities to automate or improve development workflows
- Support segmentation, moves management tracking, and donor communications prep
- Coordinate preparation of fundraising campaigns both print and digital
- Provide occasional support for outreach events (e.g., data capture, follow-up lists)
2. Executive Support & Administrative Operations
- Provide light administrative support to the Executive Director (e.g., scheduling, reminders, printing board materials)
- Assist with digital filing, donor correspondence, and records requests
- Handle routine office tasks such as mail, supplies, and check prep for deposits
- Monitor organizational email accounts and route inquiries appropriately
The person who will best succeed in this role has:
- At least 2 years of experience in nonprofit administration, development, or operations
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing, and excellent follow-through
- Proven ability to organize complex information and keep systems and people on track
- Proficiency with donor CRMs and database management (Neon CRM a plus)
- Advanced skills with Excel and Google Sheets
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and solving problems without step-by-step guidance
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising and basic finance
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Fluency with cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Workspace) and digital file systems
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- A commitment to continuous learning and pride in doing essential, repeatable tasks well
