Spaulding Youth Center Honored with $50,000.00 Grant from van Otterloo Family Foundation for Campus-Wide TBRI® Training

Spaulding Youth Center is thrilled to announce it has been honored with a grant of $50,000.00 by the van Otterloo Family Foundation to continue implementing Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) as a key programming component at Spaulding Youth Center.

Breathe New Hampshire Receives Funding from NHLBI’s COPD Learn More Breathe Better® Program

Breathe New Hampshire was recently awarded $20,000 from the National, Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), part of the National Institutes of Health, to help further the goals of the COPD National Action Plan. This subcontract is part of the NHLBI’s COPD Learn More Breathe Better® program and aims to conduct education and awareness activities around chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and its risk factors.

Endowment for Health Awards Nearly $1 Million in Grants; Projects Include Support for Family and Youth Advocates, Caregivers and Community Services Information

The Endowment for Health, New Hampshire’s largest health foundation, recently awarded $996,964.00 in grants.  Funding supports a wide array of projects aimed at strengthening the voices of families and youth, as well as greater access to community-service information. The Endowment’s focus includes work on health equity, children’s behavioral health, early childhood, elder health and health policy.

Keene Family YMCA receives $10,000 grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation

The Keene Family YMCA is pleased to announce it has been awarded $10,000 from the Henry L. and Patricia J. Nielsen Fund, one of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundations advised funds. The grant will subsidize child care at the Y for low income families.

NH Gives 2018 benefits 257 nonprofits

257 Nonprofits from every corner of New Hampshire rallied 3,989 donors to raise $426,000 for NH Gives 2018. NH Gives – an initiative of the NH Center for Nonprofits – is designed to bring the state together as one community, raising as much money and awareness as possible for New Hampshire’s nonprofits.

Friends Program Receives $5,000 Grant from Wells Fargo

The Friends Program, which strengthens communities by building relationships that empower people, encourage community service, and restore faith in the human spirit, announced today it was awarded a $5,000 grant from Wells Fargo. Funding from Wells Fargo helps support our efforts to serve the immediate needs of more than 4,000 at-risk children, homeless families, and low-income seniors annually by connecting active volunteers to those in need in their communities to make a difference.

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation Awards over $2.3 Million to more than 900 Organizations in 2017

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation announced that it awarded more than $2.3 million in grants to more than 900 nonprofit organizations in over 300 communities in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire in 2017. Since its inception in 1980, the Foundation has granted more than $145 million in funds throughout the four states.

Volunteer NH and NH Center for Nonprofits Partner on High Impact Volunteer Engagement Program

WASHINGTON - Today, Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Maggie Hassan (D-NH) announced that Volunteer New Hampshire (VNH) has received a grant through the Volunteer Generation Fund of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the federal agency for volunteering and service programs.
