Bangor Savings Bank Foundation

The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation is committed to improving community life in the states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

The Foundation focuses its philanthropic efforts on improving regional and statewide economies, and in addition lends support to the following areas:

Education
The focus is on initiatives that raise student readiness, academic success, and achievement and aspirations at the primary, secondary, and post-secondary levels, including STEM education initiatives.
 
Social and Civic Services
The focus is on activities that are directed at improving the quality of life in the communities served by the Bank.
 
Arts and Culture
The focus is on initiatives supporting organizations that meet community needs, expand arts and cultural programming, or provide education.
 
Health and Wellness
The focus is on programs essential to the underlying medical care of a community and initiatives focusing on physical and mental wellness for people of all ages.

Applications for grants of $5,001–$25,000 must be received before April 1 or October 1.
