Steve brings over 35 years of leadership experience, in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. He has held various leadership roles in the aviation industry, including Senior Vice President – The Americas, where he led a team of over 2,500 staff across 8 countries in North & South America and the Caribbean, generating $145 million annually. He has also served as a seasoned COO and CEO of faith-based and non-faith-based non-profits, displaying particular skill in driving and embedding positive change to revitalize struggling organizations. Steve possesses a unique ability to build trusting relationships that foster heightened levels of staff and stakeholder engagement, as evidenced by his recent accomplishment of raising $30 million over a span of 6 ½ years during his tenure as CEO of the Silver Bay YMCA Conference & Family Retreat Center.

Furthermore, Steve has taught various business courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in multiple colleges and universities, including R.I.T. He has also been a speaker at various non-profit leadership events.

Steve and his wife Nancy have been married since 1990 and are proud parents of two adult daughters. Steve holds a B.S. in Marketing from St. John’s University and an M.B.A. from The College of St. Joseph. Currently, he resides in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, where he finds joy in exploring the outdoors through activities such as canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing.
