Executive Director
The North Conway Community Center (NCCC) works in partnership with the community to provide a broad range of recreational opportunities for children and adults. Programs are geared toward youth, working adults, and retired persons. Youth programs include after school sports and summer camp and adult programs include drop in sports, card groups, and instructional classes.
The North Conway Community Center is looking for a full time Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for managing staff, facility and finances. The Executive Director supports and guides the annual budget development by pursuing a variety of funding strategies to ensure the financial sustainability of the organization. This includes, but is not limited to negotiating contracts, pursuing grant funding, developing community partnerships, and advising and running special events and regular programs. The Executive Director reports to a volunteer Board of Directors. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
The North Conway Community Center continues to be a picturesque focal point in downtown North Conway. We offer programs for community members of all ages. Although established in 1950, we opened a new building in 2015. Our mission is to provide space to fully meet the needs of our growing and changing population. Our goal is to maintain the new facility to support a broad range of quality and progressive recreation opportunities for children and adults. The Mount Washington Valley is an extraordinary location to live, play, and work.

The following are a baseline of skills required.
Collaborate with the Board of Directors to identify, create and implement strategic plans.
Identify, recruit, train and develop staff who can manage organizational functions.
Monitor building and organizational operations and ensure employees and practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
Develop partnerships with stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and opportunities within the organization and its environment to protect the organization's interests.
Identify and secure potential sources of funding and organize fundraising efforts.
Manage the financial sustainability of the organization in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
Represent the organization at events in ways that strengthen the brand and communicate the organization’s mission.
