The New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) Network, a nonprofit organization founded in 1962, exists to empower students of all ages and backgrounds to discover and achieve their education and career goals. The NHHEAF Network provides a continuum of support for students, including college and career planning, counseling and resources, scholarships, private student loans, loan servicing, and default prevention.

The NHHEAF Network is seeking an experienced, self-driven Project Manager to join our Concord, NH based team to oversee and manage the organization’s enterprise project management function in support of achieving our strategic goals and objectives. This role will create and maintain a culture and framework for overall project management best practices and will provide guidance and support to help project leaders be successful.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Enterprise Project Management function. This is a full-time, hybrid position and will require some in-office work at our Concord, NH location. Schedule may be varied including evenings and weekends based upon business needs.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience leading the project management function in a mid-sized organization.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, including proficiency with project management software and implementation of project management methods, tools and resources required.
  • Being a self-starter with outstanding communication, organizational and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to interact and build partnerships across all levels of the organization. 
  • Being adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing projects simultaneously.
  • PMP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate current and proposed projects to help identify the best sequence, combination, and cadence of projects to meet organizational objectives.
  • Provide a framework to determine what constitutes a project versus ongoing work, and which projects will be defined as Enterprise Projects rather than Departmental Projects.
  • Support and enhance a company-wide culture of project management best practices, for standardizing how projects are managed (with an emphasis on agility).
  • Create and maintain a PM framework that fosters a unified, detailed view of enterprise projects. Framework of projects will include a system of centralized reporting and dashboards for full line of sight into key project management metrics for project leaders and Senior Management.  
  • Lead and manage a wide variety of individual projects as assigned.
