Representative Payee Specialist

We are growing and are now seeking a Representative Payee Specialist to collect, track, process and disperse Social Security Administration (SSA) funds for our clients.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
  • Track revenue and disbursements from client account for clients for whom The Moore Center is Representative Payee and Authorized Representative
  • Perform prompt and accurate processing of all deposits
  • Cut/issue checks from Client Account
  • Ensure accurate and prompt payments
  • Track client resource amounts in the Agency Collective Account and promptly inform Case Managers and Client Benefits Services staff when a client account is getting close to or has exceeded their resource limit
  • Track wage information with vendors
  • Submit monthly Room and Board Report to Business Office
  • Ensure adherence to SSA regulations
