SNAP Nutrition Incentive Coordinator - NH Food Bank

The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a part-time (25 hours/week) SNAP Nutrition Incentive Coordinator. This is a grant-funded position.

The Incentive Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Nutrition Programs Manager and SNAP Nutrition Incentive Network Coordinator to provide outreach and awareness for the New Hampshire Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Programs; Granite State Market Match and Double Up Food Bucks. This position is also tasked with organizing meetings with network regional leads and collaborating with community organizations to support outreach regionally and statewide. Additionally, this position is also responsible for providing administrative support to program leads, reviewing program successes and challenges, developing new best practices and building relationships with new program providers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience required 

• A college degree preferred

• Community Food and Nutrition experience preferred

• Possess the ability to allow for compassion and dignity while working with low income audiences.

• Ability to communicate well both orally and in written form

• Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record and ability to travel throughout the state

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Access, Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Willing to work some evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate needs and goals with network regional leads in partnership with Nutrition Incentive Network Coordinator

• Create and/or support the design of statewide and regional outreach material with NHFB media coordinator

• Identify GSMM and DUFB gap areas and identify and determine opportunities for expansion

• Initiate and develop relationships with potential new program sites

• Train and schedule new sites on the process and administration of Granite State Market Match and Double Up Food Bucks

• Support work of SNAP Outreach Plan and be involved in awareness and training within the 400+ NHFB agency network and beyond

• Collaborate with Agency Relations staff to identify appropriate agencies to partner with

• Develop infrastructure for future healthcare partnerships that relate to SNAP outreach and food insecurity resources that enable Hunger Vital Signs screening
