Family Resource Specialist / In-Home Social Worker (Full Time) Manchester, NH

Do you have a bachelor's degree and prior experience with parent education, home visiting, or infant/toddler development? If so, Waypoint NH has a job for you!  

A Family Support Specialist is needed full-time in the Healthy Families American program in the Manchester, NH area.  Family support specialists provide services to individuals and families to improve their lives. The Family Support Specialist will focus on understanding and supporting Parent/Child Interaction that promotes optimum social-emotional and physical development of children while working in partnership with schools, state agencies, medical providers, and other social service agencies to address families’ concrete needs. The home visits follow a protocol developed by Maternal and Child Health and the evidenced-based curriculum, Parents as Teachers. Reflective supervision is provided to support the work of the Family Support Specialist.

BS or BA degree with experience and 1 to 2 years of home visiting, infant/toddler development, parenting education preferred. Other skills needed are the ability to complete paperwork timely and effectively as well as having strong verbal and face-to-face communication skills. 

Chosen candidates are required to submit to a criminal background, motor vehicle record check, and have auto insurance that meets agency standards.
