Program Coordinator for Families Impacted by Incarceration

The Program Coordinator will have the opportunity to support families impacted by incarceration.  Seeking part-time employee to provide family support to incarcerated fathers and/or mothers and their families at the Family Connections Center at the NH State Prison for men or women in Concord, NH.  All activities involve working in close and immediate contact with incarcerated fathers and/or mothers while maintaining security in the institution.  Meet families where they are at, schedule and monitor family video visits and counseling sessions.  NH Department of Corrections volunteer training provided.  This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week.

Candidates will be asked to engage in the criminal background and motor vehicle record checks and have auto insurance that meets agency standards. Waypoint is a private Nonprofit organization that has proudly served NH families for more than 170 years.  We are an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements:

Associates degree in child development, family studies, social services or related field required along with 3 years experience in a responsible family education/support/child development field, can include some experience in Corrections along with background check.
