We are looking for a Full Time (35 hours/week) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker/Mental Health Counselor to join our team of dedicated professionals in our Manchester Service location. We provide counseling services to individuals, couples and families, and other outreach services. Our clients come from all faiths and every walk of life and we are committed to serving every client with compassion and respect.  


• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling from an accredited educational program.

• Licensed or eligible for license by the New Hampshire Board of Psychology and Mental Health practice.  

• One year work experience in the field of social services.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office Products, and CMS software

• Ability to work with individuals of varied backgrounds, to be flexible and have personal integrity.

• Must be able to read, write and speak English and follow oral and written instructions.  Bilingual with a basic level of Spanish (speaking, reading and writing) preferred.

Physical Demands

• Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, stretching and moving within designated work area

• Close and distance vision, ability to distinguish color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

• Ability to hear average or normal conversations and receive information

• Visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents 


• Acting as the LICSW / LCMHC you will assist the Director of Clinical Services in the responsibilities of the Manchester Service location, as needed, and to ensure that appropriate clinical services are provided to clients in a professional and timely manner.

• Provide mental-health counseling in a professional and ethical manner, including diagnosing, treatment planning and the application of research-approved interventions.  

• Assume responsibility for maintaining active caseload in the Manchester Service Location. 

• Coordinate and conduct education and/or support groups.

• Perform Intake duties as delegated by the Director of Clinical Services.

• Respond to community crisis intervention needs as well as respond to clients requiring emergency coverage.

• Network with community resources including:  human service organizations, schools, clergy and local (Catholic) deanery parishes as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
