Executive Director

North Country Chamber Players
  • To culturally enrich the communities of Northern New Hampshire, and the surrounding areas, through high quality performances of the chamber music repertoire, and through creative, interactive educational and community outreach programs.

Location:  northern New Hampshire

Salary:  $35K – 42K, commensurate with experience and skill set

Time Requirement:  full-time from May through August and part-time from September through April

The North Country Chamber Players (NCCP) seek an Executive Director (ED) to collaborate with our Artistic Directors, Trustees and Musicians to build upon a 43 year legacy of providing world-class chamber music, education and outreach programs to the communities of northern New Hampshire. 

The ED partners with the Board of Trustees and three Artistic Directors to guide day to day operations and provide administrative oversight for the production of all NCCP activities, including the White Mountains [Summer] Music Festival, other seasonal chamber music concerts, educational residencies and mentoring, and all other outreach and fundraising activities. The ED serves as the primary liaison for all stakeholders and media, as well as partnering with community members, organizations and businesses in the areas of production, marketing, and fundraising.

The incoming ED should have a strong appreciation for classical music, experience as an executive organizational manager, and feel comfortable working closely with a professional artistic leadership team and the volunteer Board of Trustees of a non-profit organization.


Skill requirements include:

  • Financial management, including facility with QuickBooks and Excel
  • Fundraising skills and experience
  • Confident and effective interpersonal communication skills, including marketing, donor and Board cultivation, writing and audience development
