Care Attendant Recruiting Manager

Basic Function
Manage the overall recruitment responsibilities for the Care Attendant workforce. This includes designing and modifying recruiting procedures, recording recruiting metrics, supervising the recruiting team and monitoring the recruiting team's performance.

*Essential Functions and Responsibilities

· Create and place recruitment ads in a timely manner using appropriate media.

· Review and process applications and resumes appropriate.

· Conduct phone screens and initial in person interviews, assessing candidate qualifications with position needs.

· Maintain recruitment database and active list of recruitment resources.

· Work with newly hired employees during the onboarding process and completion of new hire paperwork.

· Attend job fairs and community recruitment events as needed.

· Collaborate with LTS Coordinators and Consumers ensuring recruiting needs are met.

· Continued supervision of the recruiting team which involves a great deal of communication with the team in order to streamline processes, solve problems and identify areas in need of improvement.

· Works independently and develops a strong partnership with the LTS team, consumers, and HR team.

· Must demonstrate the ability to integrate the principles of consumer self-direction into the recruitment practice, while maintaining compliance with all Federal and State labor laws.

· Develops short and long-term strategies to meet strategic recruitment goals while partnering with LTS Coordinators and management to implement plans.

· Evaluate, recommend, and implement creative, cost-effective approaches to the recruitment process by increasing high caliber candidate sourcing.

· Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program performance and evaluate where problems lie so they can be addressed quickly. Develop a monthly reporting structure for HR management.

Education/Training/Experience

· Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 2 years-experience in a recruiting function.

· Supervisory experience preferred.

· Understanding of the health care industry needs and experience is desired.

· Experience in a fast-paced, growing workplace.

· Strong understanding of Human Resources principles.

· Knowledge of Federal and State labor laws associated with recruitment and selection.

· Experience with applicant tracking systems, maximizing its functionality, and implementation.

· Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative professional who thrives under pressure and can perform multiple functions.

· Strong team-work approach.

· Self-motivated with ability to manage deadlines.

· Exceptional customer service, communication and presentation skills.
