Team Coordinator, Mobile Crisis Response

Established in 1920, Greater Nashua Mental Health has as its mission: empowering individuals to lead full and satisfying lives through treatment and support. Our agency provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse disorders. We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.


Job Summary:
The Team Coordinator will clinically and administratively manage our 24/7 Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) staff and is responsible for the Team’s performance including productivity expectations and paperwork completion.  The Team Coordinator oversees the professional development of direct reports, expands Evidence Based Clinical Practices within the department, spearheads and champions quality initiatives, and refines clinical practice guidelines, processes, and procedures within the department. This is a 2nd shift position.

Essential Functions:
• Supports the MCRT Program Manager in providing weekly one (1) hour individual or group supervision to master's level therapists (up to 6 individuals) Provides biweekly one (1) hour of individual or group supervision to case managers (4-8 individuals). Completes all documentation of the supervision sessions in a timely manner.
• Assists the program director in performing yearly performance evaluations
• Provides face to face evaluations in the community or in other community locations to provide needed support to the team.
• Provides support in the daily operations of the 4 bed crisis apartments and ensuring needs of clients are met in their respite experience.
• Provides support to staff for crisis management and guidance.  Also provides supplemental counseling to members of clients’ support systems (e.g., family members).
• Supports the other Acute Care Services departments in the absence of the ACS manager.
• Completes documentation within three (3) business days (with the first day being the dates of service/completion) and supports and monitors staff doing the same.
• Prepares for and attends departmental meetings, and participates in own supervision (bi-weekly).
• Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or similar field.
• 3-5 years of experience
• Licensed, or eligible to become licensed, mental health provider preferred (LICSW, LCMHC, MLADC).
