The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a full-time Receptionist. The Receptionist is responsible for performing assigned administrative and related clerical support functions. The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a full-time Receptionist. The Receptionist is responsible for performing assigned administrative and related clerical support functions. We offer a great work environment with generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401K and life insurance along with other fringe benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones and greet incoming visitors
  • Receive and follow administrative and receptionist instructions from supervisor and use independent judgment to solve problems as they arise.
  • Operate telephone/paging system in order to answer calls, determine the nature of the calls and direct the callers to appropriate individual or department in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Give directions/information to visitors, clients, employees, sales representatives, etc.
  • Sort, distribute and route incoming mail and faxes to appropriate departments and/or personnel.
  • Order, stock and maintain inventory of office supplies (includes carrying boxes, bending and lifting).
  • Place service calls for office equipment and assists employees in their operations as necessary.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly event calendar
  • Maintain NH Food Bank staff telephone directory and birthday list.
  • Perform other administrative duties, as required such as copying, typing, maintaining reception area etc.
