Agency Relations Manager - New Hampshire Food Bank

The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Agency Relations Manager. The Food Bank Agency Relations Manager is required to perform job functions in accordance with established policies and procedures, and fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between the New Hampshire Food Bank and our member agencies. Perform administrative duties to assist the Food Bank Executive Director and Director of Operations of the Food Bank as needed.   • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or two years experience working in human services or a related field.
  • Experience developing outreach materials, leading trainings and working in a nonprofit environment are a plus
  • Commitment to serving vulnerable populations and ending hunger in New Hampshire
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle in good working condition with proper safety equipment, proof of insurance, and a clear driving record
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout multi-county service area. (This positions requires travel)
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computers and various software packages, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat/Reader
  • Assumes responsibility for the monitoring of member agencies through site visits to comply with Feeding America’s regulations.
  • Track and schedule site visits through to ensure they are conducted in a timely manner.
  • Inform member agencies of available resources and determine appropriate distribution to ensure efficient use of hunger fighting resources.
  • Provide direction, selection and approval of agencies to include the allocations of funding when required.
  • Provide agencies with technical assistance necessary to develop and expand their service to the community.
  • Network with other social service and food assistance organizations by attending meetings, making referrals and speaking at events to ensure greater Food Bank awareness of issues and visibility.
  • Oversee distribution of a monthly newsletter to member agencies to supplement quarterly Food Bank newsletter.
  • Promote Food Bank by attending charity fairs, school and civic functions, etc.
  • Support as assigned all Food Bank special events and projects.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining accurate records by reviewing quarterly agency statistics, updating and maintaining the agency database and files for the efficient, ongoing operations of Agency Relations.
