Grocery Donor Relations Coordinator - New Hampshire Food Bank

The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Grocery Donor Relations Coordinator. The Food Bank’s Grocery Donor Relations Coordinator is responsible for building relationships with local food donors from retail stores to manufactures, to organizations, businesses conducting food drives and donations from Feeding America. In addition, the person in this role will engage to grow existing, identify new food donors and other sources of food. This position will also be responsible for assisting with various special events and other fundraising initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree preferred
• A commitment to serving vulnerable populations and ending hunger in New Hampshire
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle in good working condition with proper safety equipment, proof of insurance, and a clear driving record
• Able to travel to various locations as needed.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computers and various software packages, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat/Reader
• Manage VAP produce program, maintaining and building relationships with FA and Regional Produce programs.
• Work with the Director of Operations to create an annual solicitating plan.
• Build relationships with local businesses and other partnerships in order to generate food donations.
• Maintain constant contact with retail locations and manage the relationships between the Food Bank and the store managers.
• Manage, control and catalogue grant funding specific to food purchases.
• Work in conjunction with Warehouse Operations Manager to understand inventory needs and purchasing activities.
• Review donation trends of the NH Food Banks grocery partners, report changes and identify opportunities for expansion.
• Develop, coordinate and execute the Food Bank’s involvement at major food shows and trade events.
• Work with Warehouse Operations Manager to ensure quality standards for all incoming product.
• Maintain the food donor database, issue purchase orders and all necessary paperwork to coordinate product donations with assistance from Warehouse Operations Manager and Warehouse staff.
• Promote NH Food Bank through public relations, use of media, presentations to school and community groups and participation in food shows and fundraising events.
