School Bus Drivers provide transportation to children with disabilities and/or special needs. We will provide paid school bus training to obtain your School Bus Certificate. Drivers who live in Manchester and have off-street parking at their residence are able to bring the bus home. 

The opportunity to choose between lighter hours with summers off, or longer routes and year-round employment, will allow you to best accommodate your busy schedule.

  • High School Diploma, GED or related experience

  • CDL license preferred

  • The ability to obtain a School Bus Certificate

  • A good driving record

  • The ability to relate to individuals with special needs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Candidates must also have a favorable criminal background check, pass drug testing and successfully complete the Department of Transportation physical

Hours: Successful candidates have the ability to work Monday – Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Variable hours (20 – 40) per week are available. This is an hourly, per diem school year position. Split shifts are 6 AM - 9:30 AM,  2 PM - 4 PM and an occasional mid-day run from 10:45 AM - 12:45 PM.
