Family Support Specialist and Parent Education Facilitator

Lakes Region Community Services, a non-profit social services agency, is currently recruiting for a full-time Family Support Specialist to join our Family Resource Center team. The Family Support Specialist will provide home visits and group parenting education, utilizing strength-based family-centered support and will also act as the Kinship Navigator for the Plymouth region.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with families and will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (social work, psychology, or other human service degree preferred), knowledge of family-centered practice, willingness to work with families in groups and in their homes or via teleconference, strong interpersonal skills, and a valid driver’s license.
