Fellowship Housing Opportunities provides decent, safe, affordable housing with support to members of our community who live with mental illness. Since the mid 1960’s, Fellowship Housing Opportunities has worked to build a community in which people with mental illness are able to manage their daily lives, be good neighbors, access resources, and find acceptance.


Fellowship Housing Opportunities is seeking applicants to manage the services, staff, and resources in our licensed community residence. The Community Residence Manager is actively involved in engaging people with mental illnesses in meeting their residential and recovery-oriented goals by offering direct assistance with daily living tasks, support for taking medication, decreasing symptoms of mental illness and becoming active members of the community. In addition, the person in this position works very closely with the residents’ psychiatric treatment team to ensure that our staff provides services of the highest quality to our residents.

The Community Residence Manager must possess a high level of organization, accountability, and ownership over every aspect of the residence. This person must have strong clinical skills to ensure that residents live a robust and healthy lifestyle. Additionally, the Community Residence Manager provides leadership and oversight of direct care staff.

The ideal candidate must have experience:

  • Working collaboratively with different systems and organizations, 
  • Managing and providing constructive feedback to staff members,
  • Creatively and energetically managing a residence with a limited budget,
  • Assessing individuals’ strengths, interests, and needs to determine a goodness of fit in an environment.

The Community Residence Manager provides direct support within a group home setting. Documentation of symptoms/issues addressed and outcomes must be completed thoroughly and accurately during each shift. Ability to see and address emerging issues of safety, needs for additional supports, achievement of goals, etc. are incorporated into daily routines. The Community Residence Manager also provides leadership and supervision in all aspects of the group home

This is a full time position, Monday - Friday, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A valid NH driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, be computer literate, be oriented to the principles of recovery from mental illness, and demonstrate flexibility and problem-solving skills. Selected candidates must be able to work independently and as a member of a direct service team, be reliable, communicate well and be able to manage time well.
