Parent Aide/Educator, Manchester, NH  

The Parent Aide/Educator Program has a new part-time (up to 29 hours) opening in the Manchester, NH area. Waypoint is looking for talented dedicated staff that is passionate about and advocate for helping children and families affected by abuse and neglect to rebuild and strengthen the family unit. Would you like to join at team that will train you to provide guidance to children and families in the areas of supportive counseling, supervised visitations, health and safety education, basic parenting education, resource assistance, coordination of services and client transportation. Parent Aide/Educators must be responsible, dependable, and able to communicate effectively. Successful candidates must be able to work independently and handle confidential information. Associates Degree and two-year related Human Service experience or four years of related experience will be considered. Bachelor’s degree desired. Parenting experience is a plus. This is a part-time position working a flexible schedule to meet the needs of clients, including days, after school, evenings, and/or weekends. The chosen candidate will be required to engage in a criminal background and motor vehicle record check. Applicants must be 22 years of age. Previous experience with Office 365 and SharePoint desired.
