Oversee the direction of the medical component and assume responsibilities for all procedures in client homes.


Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or Associates Degree with a Registered License; Minimum one (1) year experience with the target population preferred; Current State License; Nurse Trainer Certification or ability to obtain certification; Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Compensation:  Based on experience.

Hours:  Monday - Friday, based on consumer needs. 


Provide direction and oversight for the medical component of the persons served consistent with state regulations, guardians, physicians and other consulting medical staff as appropriate. Develop the treatment plan for nursing needs and provide nursing services under the direction of a Physician. Assume responsibility for all medical procedures that occur per licensing requirements. Train and supervise staff in consumer personal care, infection control, diabetes, wellness, other medically related issues, medication administration compliance with State Regulations and appropriate physician communication.  Coordinate communication between physicians, families and staff regarding medical issues.  Maintain documentation and prepare reports as required by program policy.
