Data Analyst

Grafton County Senior Citizens Council

The mission of GCSCC is to develop, strengthen, and provide programs and services that support the health, dignity, and independence of older adults and adults with disabilities living in our communities.   

FLSA:  Non-Exempt

Summary Description:  Under the direction of the Associate Director of Business Operations, compiles, maintains, and reports service provision data and key business metrics for public and private sector funders, as well as for internal and external use. Assists in routine network maintenance and provides end-user support.
Functions / Responsibilities:
1. Manages the statistical database for the organization.
2. Enters and maintains statistical data of client demographics and services provided by various GCSCC programs.
3. Prepares invoices for funding sources based on services provided.
 These include but are not limited to:
• NH State Contracts
• Choice for Independence (CFI) Billing
• Fiscal agents/contractors subcontracting with GCSCC (including local planning commission)
• Local funders (including Grafton County)
4. Reconciles GCSCC records with information provided by funding sources.
5. Prepares reports for local, state, and federal agencies from existing data systems.
6. Evaluates manual data collection and coordinates this with computerized programs in order to facilitate the daily work flow, working toward maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the GCSCC wide area network.
7. Reviews existing procedures to make sure data collection and data management change with new requirements, as needed by the agency.
8. Provides analytical support to the agency, including but not limited to the development and reporting of analytical metrics, performance reports, and analytical information as requested by the marketing and development director and other staff members.
9. Assists in maintenance of network systems including, but not limited to, providing end user support and interfacing with network and local computer consulting companies to resolve problems.
10. Job performance will be evaluated based on the following attributes and skills: job knowledge, quality of work, cooperation with staff, problem solving abilities, dependability, ability to maintain confidentiality, creativity, initiative, planning and organization.
11. Attends staff meetings and trainings as required.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned and/or serve on various committees, as requested.
Functional Capacity:  Light. Must be able to utilize a computer, sit, stand and or walk to a significant degree; must be able to lift 20 pounds.


Success candidate must be detail- and deadline - oriented , self-motivated, flexible, and responsive to the informational needs of colleagues; must be able to work in harmony with staff, volunteers and participants. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Access, is essential. AA degree or equivalent from 2 year college of technical school ; or equivalent related experience. A combination of both college and experience may be considered.
