Clinician - Adults

Riverbend Community Mental Health

Founded in 1963, Riverbend Community Mental Health is a private, nonprofit organization providing specialized behavioral health services in central New Hampshire. Core services include 24/7 emergency mobile crisis services; counseling services for children, adults, and families; addiction treatment; and community support, vocational services, and residential programs for adults and seniors. Clinician – Adults 

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based mental health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Adult Therapist to join our talented multi-disciplinary team in our Franklin office working with adults with serious and persistent mental illness. 

As a Riverbend Clinician, your primary responsibilities will be working with clients using a variety of treatment approaches, helping to coordinate treatment, and facilitating communication with the treatment team at Riverbend, outside agencies, and providers. This is a great opportunity to work on the front lines of community-based mental health services, and help our clients achieve optimal recovery and independence.

Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field is required.
  • Eligibility for NH License as LICSW, LCMHC, or Psychologist is required; Active license preferred.
  • Experience working with adults in the mental health field is required.
  • Knowledge of – or willingness to learn and practice – the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Model is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Work in collaboration with interdisciplinary team including case management, nursing, and psychiatry.
  • Provide individual and group therapy to adults and coordinate treatment with both providers and facilities outside of Riverbend.
  • Provide clinical assessment for eligibility of services.
  • Complete clinical documentation in a concise and timely fashion.
