Clinical Manager – Autism Spectrum Disorders ($3,000 sign-on bonus!)

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Clinical Manager to work in our Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) program.  These services are available through our Children's Program (ChIP).  *This position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus!*

The Clinical Manager provides leadership to the ASD team which includes provision of clinical care, staff recruitment and supervision, fiscal planning, risk management, and participating in program development to meet the needs of the community. The ASD Clinical Manager also conducts comprehensive assessments, bio-psychosocial intakes and provides psychotherapy to a small caseload of clients to supplement the clinical needs of the program.

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field is required.
  • Active NH Licensure as LCMHC, LICSW, or BCBA certification is required. 
  • 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • 3 years in providing mental health and/or behavioral therapies and services preferred.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills are required.
  • A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance or access to a reasonable alternative is preferred.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the ASD program
  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to program staff
  • Oversee program development 
  • Track and manages program referrals
  • Secure ABA authorizations with insurance companies
  • Conduct high quality initial assessments and develop treatment/behavior plans
  • Demonstrate clinical and behavioral knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment
  • Understand the child serving system of care
  • Coordinate with various outside agencies and other treatment providers
  • Coordinate with other parts of the Children’s Program
  • Provide regular psychotherapy and intake assessments to a small caseload of clients.
  • Participate on Children’s Program management team
  • Provide limited evening on-call coverage on a rotating basis
