NH Audubon

MISSION:  To protect New Hampshire’s natural environment for wildlife and for people.


            New Hampshire Audubon (NH Audubon) is one of the oldest conservation nonprofit organizations in New Hampshire, and one of the original independent Audubon’s in the country.  At over 100 years old, NH Audubon was established before National Audubon Society and remains fully independent and entirely disconnected from that organization.  As such, NH Audubon’s focus is entirely on the protection of New Hampshire’s wildlife and habitats.


Maintenance/Custodian - We are considering both part-time (17 hrs./wk) and full time (35 hrs./wk). flex schedules.


3-5 years custodial, grounds keeping and/or building maintenance exp. with ability to work independently and prioritize while multi-tasking. Attention to quality and detail a must. Professional, positive and friendly personality necessary. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

  • Hands-on grounds & building maintenance and custodial duties. Commitment to safety & environmental practices which support McLane Center's Gold Leed status.
  • Maintain building systems including pellet & propane boilers, Clivus composting and greywater recycling system.
  • Set up rooms prior to events.
  • Serve as contact person with vendirs to schedule service.
