Position Shift - Days/Hours

The available shifts are as follows: Friday 1:00pm-11:00pm and Saturday 10:00pm-8:00am.

Job Description

Fellowship Housing Opportunities is seeking applicants for the delivery of services in our group home and outreach programs. Residential Counselors are actively involved in engaging people with mental illnesses in meeting their residential and recovery-oriented goals by offering direct assistance with daily living tasks, support for taking medication, decreasing symptoms of mental illness and becoming active members of the community.

Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid NH driver’s license and auto insurance is required.

Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, be computer literate, be oriented to the principles of recovery from mental illness, and demonstrate flexibility and problem-solving skills. Candidates must be able to work independently and as a member of a direct service team, be reliable, communicate well and be able to manage time well.

Responsibilities:

Residential Counselors provide direct support within a group home setting and/or apartment settings. Documentation of symptoms/issues addressed and outcomes must be completed thoroughly and accurately during each shift. Ability to see and address emerging issues of safety, needs for additional supports, achievement of goals, etc. are incorporated into daily routines. Residential Counselors working 3rd Shift will be responsible for ensuring secure perimeters during the overnight hours, basic household upkeep and administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the house.
