Great Waters Music Festival

Great Waters is a performing arts presenting organization, established in 1995. Its mission is to present high quality artists, in a variety of performing arts genres to the Lakes Region of NH. The manner in which attendees experience the intimate social gathering, by the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee makes it memorable, and a future destination. The desired long term impact is to continue to make performing arts accessible to all citizens, and support projects that reach out to communities that have limited access to the arts due to their geographic location


Great Waters is seeking a part to full-time individual to execute and manage administrative work  for the preeminent producer of entertainment for the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.  This person will work closely with the Executive Director to apply best practices in stewarding donor information, research and accounting efforts.  This involves close interaction between the organization and our sponsors, donors and concert attendees.  The ideal candidate will be a creative, energetic and take-charge person with excellent attention to detail.  We are looking for a candidate with experience in office administration with an outgoing, customer-friendly demeanor and customer relationship experience. The candidate will be actively involved in day-to-day operations, as well as helping to manage performances and events.

Requirements:

Key Competencies/Qualities

  • Customer service oriented.
  • Detail and results-oriented; highly organized with excellent follow-through.
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks and database management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional personal presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to work autonomously, taking direction as needed, and to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:

Primary Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage Customer Service, including maintaining the customer database, sending out letters and thank you notes, processing ticket sales and donations, and assisting customers in person and on the phone.
  • Assist the Executive Director with research and follow up from meetings, or committees.
  • Work with the Executive Director and Committee Chairs to coordinate event details.
  • Work the front of the house at concerts and other events to sell tickets, and steward donors.
