We are seeking a full-time Residential Assistant Manager to ensure the delivery of quality, safe and individualized services for people with developmental disabilities in a Shared Home (Adult Foster Care) environment.  Will also support Shared Home Manager and provide staff oversight.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this position; a minimum of two years of direct or related experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems, as well as a valid driver’s license and access to a safe, insured operating vehicle during scheduled working hours are also required.

  • Responsible for reporting all incidents of client abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation to designated administrative staff and Adult Protective Services  
  • Manage client and provider caseload
  • Monitor quality of service in shared homes, including a minimum visit every other month  
  • Ensure provider paperwork compliance, including the following: Data Sheets, Progress Notes, Med QA’s, Attendance Sheets, and other certification-related documents as per HeM-1001, and other related state regulations
  • Review Progress Notes, Data sheets monthly 
  • Monitor medical issues and Med QA follow-up 
  • Communicate Agency information 
  • Ensure that initial and yearly training for Shared Home providers is completed
  • Monitor Fire Safety issues 
  • Attend Service Agreement meetings and other meetings related to the client and/or placement
  • Establish goals and objectives in conjunction with the client and team 
  • Prepare homes for state inspections;  assist with any required follow-up  
  • Provide crisis intervention 
  • Monitor client finances and financial logs 
  • Provide on-call coverage as assigned 
  • Coordinate client moves as needed 
  • Provide emergency support and/or backup for providers when necessary 
  • Work closely with Shared Home Manager on staffing oversight to include all aspects of hiring, training and management of Residential/CPS staff
