Registered Nurse, Assertive Community Treatment Team

Greater Nashua Mental Health

Established in 1920, Greater Nashua Mental Health has as its mission: empowering individuals to lead full and satisfying lives through treatment and support. Our agency provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse disorders. We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.

We have a full-time opening for a Registered Nurse with our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team! This dynamic treatment team is dedicated to delivering intensive community based services and support to our adult clients diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness.

This position will work with an interdisciplinary ACT team to perform basic health, medical and psychiatric assessments; coordinate health care of patients with providers in the community, and will provide medical and psychiatric education to patients and their families. Some flexibility in scheduling is required; including some evening hours and participation in a rotating on-call schedule to provide our clients with 24/7 coverage.

Candidate must be a Registered Nurse and should have at least 2 years of experience working with psychiatric populations. Training and experience providing services that are Evidenced Based is a plus! We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible nurse.

Greater Nashua Mental Health is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, NH State Loan Repayment Program and offers competitive salaries and comprehensive employee benefits. Apply today!
