Van Driver

Riverbend Community Mental Health

Core services include 24/7 emergency mobile crisis services; counseling services for children, adults, and families; addiction treatment; and community support, vocational services, and residential programs for adults and seniors. Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based mental health services in New Hampshire is seeking a per diem Van Driver to join our talented facilities team. 

As a Van Driver, your primary goal is to provide clients of Riverbend regular transportation to certain areas within Riverbend’s service area. Additional duties include some inter-office mail delivery to select residential sites.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
  • Active NH DOT Medical Card, or willingness to obtain one is required.
  • Current Defensive Driving certificate, or willingness to obtain one is required.
  • Current Emergency Evacuation training, or willingness to attend training required.
  • Current Passenger Assistance training, or willingness to attend training required
Responsibilities:
  • Provide transportation for clients and light delivery services for the agency
  • Maintain cleanliness of buses in Riverbend fleet according to related cleaning schedule
  • Schedule vehicles for maintenance as necessary
  • Perform routine safety-related inspections of vehicles
  • Interact appropriately with clients
