Client Access Representative

Greater Nashua Mental Health

Established in 1920, Greater Nashua Mental Health has as its mission: empowering individuals to lead full and satisfying lives through treatment and support. Our agency provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse disorders. We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.

The Client Access Representative manages waiting rooms and client flow by greeting all visitors and informing appropriate staff of their arrival. Responsibilities also include conducting registration interviews with clients to gather demographic and financial information as well as collecting copays, deductibles and past due balances. As the face of the agency, it essential that all tasks and interactions are performed in a friendly, professional and confidential matter.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years of experience in a customer service based position. Familiarity with medical terminology and experience managing a multi-line switchboard are a plus! Keys to success with this position include excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong organizational and time management skills.

Are you a team player with a positive, friendly and can-do attitude? If so, we want to hear from you!

Greater Nashua Mental Health Center is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, NH State Loan Repayment Program and offers competitive salaries and comprehensive employee benefits. Apply today!
