Associate Infant Teacher

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire provides afterschool programs, summer day camps and basketball leagues to 2500 youth throughout the central New Hampshire area including Concord and Laconia areas. Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who most need us, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.  We offer a safe place to belong, caring adult mentors and programs covering everything from academics and leadership development to physical fitness and healthy habits.

We are excited to offer two full-time positions in our infant program at the Eastman School in Concord, NH. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a fun, experienced staff to make a real difference for children in a brand new program.

The right individual will be enthusiastic, caring and possess a minimum of a high school diploma and early childhood education experience and/or 9 or more ECE credits. 


-Candidates must actively exhibit a passion for early education and an enthusiasm for learning

 -Demonstrate exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills

 -Deliver required paperwork and lesson plans on time and to completion

 -Respond to changing work environments by demonstrating flexibility with schedules, teamwork, and families

 -Display excellent written and verbal communication skills,classroom management skills and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff.


With guidance from the Center Director, candidate will be responsible for:

-Helping to create individual care plans for infants and families.

-Caring for infants in the classroom by (not limited to) feeding them, changing diapers, helping them to sleep and nurturing their social and emotional well being.

-Communicating with families on a daily basis.

-Working with families to help infants reach the next milestone in their development.

-Creating curriculum that stimulates the five senses and encourages infants to explore their world.

  • Ensuring the safety of infants, organizing activities, and carrying out overall goals and objectives of the program.
