Quality Assurance Analyst

We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.


Our community mental health center is looking for a fulltime Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team! This new and exciting position will support the development and implementation of quality improvement measures through data collection and analysis using reports, scorecards, dashboards and other documents.

This Quality Assurance Analyst assumes responsibility for specialized analytical projects involving the collection and analysis of data from multiple sources including peer chart reviews, customer service surveys, audits, KPI’s and other metrics to assess quality, compliance, and utilization. This position will participate in agency committees and workgroups as needed to support and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement. Additionally, this position will support the Quality & Compliance Department in the monitoring of the agency’s performance improvement activities, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance practices. 

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or training in mental health, counseling, social work, nursing or related field. Qualified candidates must have advanced MS Excel skills and experience manipulating and analyzing data sets to: identify trends; analyze variances; and identify areas for improvement. A minimum of 3 years of related work experience in a similar position is required. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently, prioritize duties, and problem solve. Knowledge of medical records systems and experience with Access Database is preferred.
