Residential Assistant - Evening Shift

Spaulding Youth Center, located on a spacious campus in Northfield, NH, is a nonprofit dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of emotionally and/or intellectually challenged children, youth and their families. Essential functions of the Residential Assistant is to provide direct care and supervision to students during residential (non-school) hours.  Responsibilities include teaching daily living skills, community integration, and socialization to our students.

Requirements:

Spaulding Youth Center is seeking self-motivated, flexible individuals to join our residential team as Residential Assistants for our Evening Shift to work with our students ages 5-21 years old with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning and/or developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. Applicants for the Residential Assistant position must be reliable, have a high level of personal integrity and be able to consistently follow through with treatment strategies. CPR/First Aid and other crisis management certifications will be required, and is offered through our training programs. Prior experience working with developmentally and/or emotionally challenged individuals is desirable for the Residential Assistant role. Applicants must be 21 years of age; high school diploma or GED is required.
