Voices Against Violence

The mission of Voices Against Violence is to break the cycle of violence by providing comprehensive services for all victims and survivors and by creating social change through education and action.

Voices Against Violence is a crisis services agency located in Plymouth, NH. We provide information and support to victims and survivors, their family and friends, community members, and professionals around domestic violence, children who witness domestic violence, sexual violence and harassment, stalking, human trafficking and bullying. We are Southern Grafton County’s resource for the most updated and current information, state and federal guidelines, and best practices around these issues. Our services are available for victims, survivors and non-offending family members and friends.

The Voices Against Violence Data Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the Client database. This entails entering all data into the database, preparing reports for the Executive Director as requested, ensuring all staff and volunteers accurately complete all necessary logs in a timely fashion and act as the Voices expert on the database.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent life or work experience
  • 30 hours of training in accordance with NH RSA 173-C to be completed within 3 months of hire
  • Skills: Strong data entry and analysis skills and attention to details, adherence to confidentiality and privacy issues, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of issues related to domestic, sexual violence and stalking.  Adequate computer skills, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
  • Traits: Passionate about the issues, dedicated, detail-oriented team player and professional.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Voices Against Violence Client Database
  • Correlate and report Voices Against Violence’s direct service statistics
  • Agency authority on Voices’ Victim Database
  • Liaison with NHCADSV relative to Victim Database; attend all applicable meetings / trainings
