Program Facilitator

Kingswood Youth Center

The Kingswood Youth Center is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization governed by a board of directors.  The mission of the Kingswood Youth Center is to provide a safe and positive environment in which youth may grow, learn and develop life skills critical to their success in the adult world. The KYC does this by providing after school programming for youth, ages 12 to 18, in the Governor Wentworth School District of New Hampshire. All services are free of charge.  A hot meal is served along with a variety of programs and activities daily at the 3000 square foot facility that sits on 8.5 acres of land in Wolfeboro.  The programs offer experiential learning, community interaction, leadership, recreation, and fun!  KYC collaborates with other agencies to provide members with additional resources when needed.  KYC is recognized as an intregal part of the community and receives annual support from the schools and the towns in the district. Most of the youth attending the KYC reside at or below the poverty level and are facing challenging life circumstances.

The Kingswood Youth Center is hiring a part-time Program Facilitator to start at the end of August and work 25 hours per week while school is in session. The KYC offers competitive hourly wages, paid time off, a fun working environment and the opportunity to support a great cause and work with great teens!

The right candidate will have experience working with teens, will be an exemplary role model and mentor, and will be willing to perform a wide variety of tasks in support of the KYC's mission.

The program facilitator will have a wide variety of responsibilities, including direct service to youth participants, administrative support, facility upkeep and more.
