Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties

Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. is a non-profit organizaiton dedicated to helping meet the needs of individuals, families and elderly statewide and in particular Merrimack and Belknap Counties. 

Thirty hour per week opportunity to provide supportive services to teachers in the Early Head Start program.  Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining intensive practice based coaching for teaching staff to help achieve specific professional goals and to benefit the children enrolled in the Early Head Start program.  Excellent oral and written communication skills required.  Ability to complete focused observations and facilitate teacher self-reflection necessary.  Must have good organizational and time management skills as well as experience with data tracking systems. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master’s preferred), completion of the Practice-Based Coaching Training Institute within 30 days of hire, prior experience with the Head Start program and knowledge of the Head Start Performance Standards.  Training in Adult Learning Principles also required.  Benefits package includes medical and dental/vision, 403b retirement plan and education tuition assistance.   E.O.E.
