Team Coordinator – Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program

Greater Nashua Mental Health Center

Established in 1920, Greater Nashua Mental Health Center (GNMHC) has as its mission: empowering individuals to lead full and satisfying lives through treatment and support. Our agency provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals with mental health and/or substance misuse disorders.  We offer a wide array of services in office and community settings, serving adults and children.  As the State-designated Community Mental Health Center for Southern Hillsborough County, we serve everyone who walks in our doors, and no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for services.  Without our agency, many of the most vulnerable members of our community would not have access to critically needed behavioral health care.   We believe that by respecting people as they are, we can help them to become all that they wish to be.

We are seeking a therapist to take a lead role in further developing our SUD programs. The successful candidate will provide direct services to individuals and their families seeking substance abuse treatment or services. These direct services will include evaluations, individual-, group-, and family-therapy. This role will provide consultation/education regarding SUD programming and services to internal and interdepartmental staff, outside agencies, and the community.

We are seeking a Masters level therapist, NH licensure preferred. The ideal candidate will be someone who is motivated and enthusiastic about taking ownership of our SUD programs, strengthening and enhancing our services, and making Greater Nashua Mental Health the preferred provider of these services in the region. Additional qualifications include; a demonstrated ability to work effectively with persons dealing with drug abuse and dependence issues, a high degree of professionalism, and creative problem solving skills.

As a community mental health agency, our work environment can be hectic at times and challenging. We are, however, very much a team of professionals who are accessible to one another and eager to assist one another in our collective efforts to support our clients. Our primary goal of client support necessitates some early evening hours, and the work schedule can be flexible.

Greater Nashua Mental Health Center is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, NH State Loan Repayment Program and offers competitive salaries and comprehensive employee benefits. Apply today!
