Spaulding Youth Center, located on a spacious campus in Northfield, NH, is a nonprofit dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of emotionally and/or intellectually challenged children, youth and their families. Spaulding Youth Center is a leading provider of services for children and youth with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning and/or developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. Services include academic, behavioral health, residential, foster care, health and wellness and family support.

Requirements:

Applicants must also be 21 years of age or older to meet regulatory requirements for the position.

Prior experience with developmentally and/or emotionally disabled individuals desirable for the Residential Assistant and Residential Counselor role.

Residential Assistants must have High school diploma or GED, with a college degree preferred.

Residential Counselors should have Bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, social work, education or other related field. We will consider a combination of course work and experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities:

Spaulding seeks self-motivated, flexible individuals to join our residential team as Residential Assistants~ for both Day & Awake Overnight shifts to work with behaviorally challenged youth ages 5-21 years old with neurological impairments including autism, intellectual disabilities and emotional disorders.

Applicants for the Residential Assistant and Residential Counselor position must be reliable, have a high level of personal integrity and be able to learn to consistently follow through with treatment strategies and acquire CPR/First Aid and other certifications.
