Prenatal SUD Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of Behavioural Health, this position will be largely community based working with woman who are pregnant, postpartum or at risk of pregnancy and struggling with substance misuse but may not be engaged in prenatal care or substance misuse services.  This is a two year grant funded position with continued grant funding very likely if they are successful engaging clients with both their medical needs as well as their SUD struggles.

The community based BHC provides behavioral health consultation, counseling, and engagement to pregnant woman in a variety of environments including: the community, local ER’s, other agencies, etc. The successful candidate will be able to engage with this population and will provide linkages to assist with navigating the care system.  The BHC will also provide assessment, diagnosis, brief treatment and crisis management to these pregnant woman. 
 
We are looking for an individual who is comfortable working in the community, who works well in a fast paced environment, and who has the ability to work independently as well as work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes medical professionals.  S/he must have some ability to be flexible with their schedule.  This position will be responsible for coordination of all grant activities.

Qualifications:
•Education/Experience:Masters Degree in Social Work or other related field from an accredited graduate school with 2+ years’ experience in the field, preferably some in a medical setting and/or community based.  MLADC preferred. Will consider LADC with bachelor’s degree and several years of experience.
•Certificates and Licenses: Licensed or working towards licensure in the State of NH as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or other related field.
•LADC/MLADC preferred
