Step Up Parents receives $55,000 grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation

Statewide - Step Up Parents is humbled to receive its second grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, made possible by gifts from its New Hampshire Tomorrow Substance Use Disorders Fund.  The $55,000 grant will help further the nonprofit’s mission of providing immediate financial assistance to relative caregivers in New Hampshire who have stepped up to care for children whose biological parents struggle with substance misuse.

“The pandemic has had a devastating impact on so many kinship families throughout New Hampshire,” said Step Up Parents Founder and Executive Director, Denyse Richter. “We are grateful to the Foundation for awarding us this amazing grant again this year. Their support and trust in our organization validates our work and allows us to assist so many deserving kinship families.”
