Newburyport Bank Donates $1,000 to the American Independence Museum

Newburyport Bank has continued its support of the American Independence Museum with a $1,000 Supporter Sponsorship for the Museum’s Annual Festival.

Founded in 1991, the American Independence Museum celebrates what it took to create the freedoms that Americans continue to enjoy today.  Located in Exeter, New Hampshire’s Revolutionary War Capital, the Museum serves residents, schoolchildren and area visitors by making our past relevant and fun.  This year the Museum is looking forward to welcoming back visitors beginning May 15 for in-person tours and programs, as well as continuing outreach around the world with virtual programs.  The Museum will host a modified in-person American Independence Festival throughout the month of July.

“The pandemic has forced all of us to miss so many cultural and historic venues and events” stated Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of the Bank. “The Annual American Independence Festival is one of them, so we’re extremely pleased to see it get fully back on track and proud our financial support will assist in that effort.”
