Fellowship Housing Opportunities Donates Vehicle to Family in Need

Fellowship Housing Opportunities recently donated their 2002 Toyota Sienna to Marianne Smith of Concord, NH

As some of you may remember, Fellowship Housing Opportunities received $25,000 in grants this past fall, which allowed us to purchase a “new to us” vehicle for Fellowship House, our 24-hour staffed residential home.  Although the 2002 Toyota Sienna we owned was no longer a valuable asset for us, it was still a vehicle capable of meeting the transportation needs of someone else.  Being a 501c(3) non-profit ourselves, we know the importance of giving and wanted to pay forward the generosity that was so graciously given to us.  By donating this vehicle to Ms. Smith, she and her daughter will now have reliable transportation to and from school, doctor’s appointments, work and wherever else they need to go!  We hope we were able to help Ms. Smith make her life a little easier and are happy to have been able to pay it forward!

About Our Organization
Fellowship Housing Opportunities is a private 501c(3) nonprofit organization located in downtown Concord, NH, dedicated to promoting recovery from mental illness as a provider of high-quality, affordable housing, and client-centered behavioral services. We own seven buildings and provide over 60 individuals struggling with a severe mental illness with affordable and supported housing. Affordable rental costs for four of these housing projects (including the community residence) are possible through subsidies by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The remaining three properties accept Section 8 Housing Vouchers to keep rent affordable for our tenants.
